This week we already had the pleasure of hosting two events with high-caliber speakers from the banking industry. Here are some snapshots from our talk with Dr. Nowotny, Governor of the Austrian National Bank.

It was a pleasure to welcome Ursula Plassnik, former Foreign Minister of Austria and currently Austrian Ambassador to France, who gave an insightful talk on the challenges of working in diplomacy, be it in times of international crises or in daily business.
Alexander Van der Bellen, chairman of the parliamentary club and federal spokesperson of the Austrian Green Party from 1997 to 2008, gave an interesting reflection on his academic career as a professor of economics and gave insights into how he got dragged into politics to become one of the most popular Austrian politicians. Unfortunately, the question regarding his potential candidacy in the next Austrian presidential elections remained unanswered „wink“-Emoticon
